Steps to reset HANA System Password
1) Login to SAP System with Root User
2) Change to User
3)Stop the SAP HANA Server to know Clickhere
4) Start the name server
hdbnameserver &
you will not get the cursor prompt back
5) Take new console and run index server.
hdbindexserver &
you will not get the cursor prompt back
6) Reset the Password the console
- ALTER USER SYSTEM PASSWORD XYzASD1234
7) Stop the hdbindexserver by pressing Ctrl+C
8) Stop the hdbnameserver by using command kill
killall -9 hdbnameserver
9) Start Hana Server.
10 Update the password in SAP HANA Studio
Now you have successfully Reset the SAP HANA SYSTEM user Password
